San Diego VOAD Meeting
- Legal Aid Society-Group forming with Legal Aid Society of San Diego, San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, Public Counsel, Local law schools and some private law firms forming a group to assist disaster survivors.
- The San Diego Region of the American Red Cross has worked with the San Diego County Office of Emergency Services to identify a highest probability, high consequence event that is likely to affect the county.
The objective of the Supportive Community lane is to align sheltering and feeding capacity and capability expectations with local and state government in realistic planning discussions that includes engaging community-based service delivery partners.
The expected outcome will be strengthened operational readiness through a process that aligns feeding and sheltering expectations and commitments with local emergency management.
