2024 Winter Immediate Needs

San Diego residents impacted by the January flooding have just a short amount of time to register for FEMA and SBA with in-person assistance at the two Disaster Recovery Centers (DRC), through March 30th, so please encourage folks to visit either DRC as soon as possible. SDVOAD has a table there and people can sign up with us for muckout and mold suppression assistance, register for support from VOAD members, and also sign up for assistance through the upcoming Disaster Case Management Program.

The DRCs are located at the Spring Valley Library (836 Kempton St, Spring Valley, CA 91977) and Mountainview Recreation Center (641 S. Boundary Street, San Diego CA) from 10 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. PT daily.

Before tackling mold suppression, please review these materials from National VOAD member SBP.
